Get a clearer view of your business valuation
The Business Intelligence preview includes a Business Value view. Treat any value shown as an estimate whose usefulness depends on its inputs and assumptions, not a guaranteed sale price.
Before you begin
- A consistent operating history and a reconciled view of revenue and costs.
- Current machine records, service history, and location information.
Step by step
Complete the operating record
Review the completeness of your collections, revenue, expenses, machine inventory, and location records. Identify gaps before evaluating a number.
Open the available value view
If your release includes Business Value, open it from the business reporting or intelligence area. If it is not available, export your operating reports to prepare for a valuation discussion.
Inspect the assumptions
Review any calculation period, included earnings measure, and assumptions shown. Do not assume the estimate includes debt, cash, inventory, taxes, or transaction costs. Ask for clarification if the basis is not displayed.
Look beyond revenue
Consider the quality of location relationships, concentration at a few venues, machine condition, maintenance needs, and the work required to operate the route.
Use a range for planning
Track changes over time using consistent inputs. For a sale, financing, or other material decision, work with a qualified valuation or accounting professional.
Check your result
You know which records the estimate uses, which assumptions remain uncertain, and how to obtain the supporting reports.
If you need help
If the estimate changes unexpectedly, compare the underlying period and inputs first. Send support the relevant screen and the date of the change without sharing unnecessary private records.
