Optimize machine performance

Start by understanding what changed. A machine that is earning less may have a service issue, a weak prize mix, a different traffic pattern, or incomplete reporting.

Before you begin

  • A meaningful comparison period and accurate machine records.
  • Recent service notes, prize costs, and collection history.

Step by step

  1. Open the machine record

Review the machine’s revenue trend, service history, and any available operating data. Confirm it is assigned to the right location.

  2. Check data quality and uptime

Rule out missing collections, interrupted connections, and recent downtime. A reporting problem should not be mistaken for a performance problem.

  3. Review the opportunity

The supplied machine preview includes Optimize, Prize Mix, AI Insight, and History. Review the available recommendations alongside your knowledge of the venue.

  4. Choose one change

Address a service issue, refresh the prize mix, improve visibility, or test an approved setting change. Use manufacturer instructions and applicable operating requirements for the machine.

  5. Record the test

Document what changed and when. Give the test a reasonable comparison period and account for weekends, seasonality, and venue events.

  6. Measure the outcome

Compare revenue, prize cost, player experience, and service needs. Keep a change only if it improves the overall result.

Check your result

You can explain the action taken and compare its outcome with a credible baseline.

If you need help

If a remote action is unavailable, check compatibility and plan access with support. Do not assume every machine supports every Control feature.
