Plan and complete a route

A productive route is more than a list of addresses. Combine collection, refill, and service needs so each visit earns its place in the day.

Before you begin

  • Accurate location addresses and access hours.
  • A list of collections, refills, service issues, and available drivers.

Step by step

  1. Review the work

Start with open tasks and location needs. Distinguish a service issue that needs attention from a routine visit that can wait.

  2. Group your stops

Use the route planning tools available in your version to organize stops geographically. Account for venue hours, vehicle capacity, and realistic travel time.

  3. Prepare the driver

Make sure the assigned person has the supplies, access information, and responsibilities needed for each stop.

  4. Work through the stop

The supplied route screen lists tasks such as Collect cash and Refill. Record the actual work and any exception before marking the stop complete.

  5. Review at closeout

Reconcile collections, unresolved tasks, and supplies used. Schedule follow-up for anything that could not be completed.

Check your result

Every completed stop has a record of what happened, and unfinished work has a next step.

If you need help

If a route looks wrong, check venue addresses and stop requirements first. Avoid sharing private access instructions in a general support message.
